Donate - materials

The centre is able to cover basic day-to-day expenses such as food, water and electricity, but any extra supplies and equipment can only rarely be purchased. Donations of equipment for tailoring and cooking, books, classroom supplies, kids clothing, toys and games are much needed.

The 8 computers at the centre were donated in 2009 by the Grenaa Production School of Denmark and are a fantastic addition to the centre. Similarly, the renovation of the child care centre, as well as the purchase of sewing machines and a new oven, were all donated by one of the volunteers. In 2011, another volunteer raised funds to provide a back-up power generator for the centre.

Donate - money

The Faraja Centre is currently raising money for the completion of the second floor of the classroom block. This will provide the centre with the addition of two more classrooms, which are urgently needed at this time.
